Outreach - St Francis of Assisi in the Pines, Overland Park, KS

St. Francis supports with money, time, and food donations many of the Episcopal Community Services (ECS) in Kansas City metro. These include the food Pantry at St. Paul's Episcopal in Kansas City, KS and the BackSnack school programs in Olathe Kansas Schools. The food Pantry at St. Paul's can always use extra help. It is open Wednesdays, 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm and Saturdays, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. They gladly accept any hours you can offer, large or small. When you go for the first time, plan to arrive 1/2 hour early for orientation and introduction to the other volunteers. Find out directions and more information here.

St. Francis of Assisi also makes available counseling and crisis intervention services for families, parents and individuals. Counseling for grief, relationship issues and life transitions is offered.
